What this site collects
Most pages can be read without creating an account. When you use Ask Cris, the site stores the questions and answers in that conversation, a pseudonymous session identifier, response metadata, and any name or email address you choose to provide. The site also records limited operational, performance, and abuse-prevention data needed to run and protect the service.
How the information is used
Conversation data is used to answer your questions, apply safety and privacy checks, understand which topics are useful, investigate failures or abuse, and improve the experience. Optional contact information is used only to reconnect your contact details with your AMA conversation and to follow up when appropriate. It is not required to use Ask Cris.
Service providers
Ask Cris sends relevant prompts, conversation context, and approved public knowledge to OpenAI to perform moderation, planning, and answer generation. Netlify hosts the site and stores AMA records. Upstash may process hashed rate-limit identifiers, and Cloudflare Turnstile may process bot-verification data when that protection is enabled. Those providers handle data under their own terms and privacy notices.
Retention and browser storage
Stored AMA conversations and contact details attached to them are scheduled for deletion after 90 days. The contact details you submit are also kept in your browser's local storage so the form can remember them; you can remove that copy by clearing this site's browser data. A session identifier is kept in session storage until that browser session ends.
Choices and requests
Do not submit confidential, employer-sensitive, financial, medical, legal, authentication, or other highly sensitive information. To ask what data is associated with you, request correction or deletion, or raise a privacy question, email hello@crispierry.com. Include enough context to identify the relevant conversation without sending additional sensitive information.
