AI Won’t Fix Bad Logic

By Cristiano Pierry

A short note on why AI can scale bad product logic faster if humans do not teach systems when not to act.

I love LEGO. But this one broke my brain.

A loyalty email warning me: “Your points will expire in 2 months.”

Points expiring: 0.

This is exactly the kind of thing I hope AI will save us from.

But I’m not convinced it will.

Bad logic plus AI does not become good software.

  • AI can write the email.
  • AI can generate the campaign.
  • AI can ship the code.

But someone still has to teach the system when not to do something stupid.

Will AI save us from poor programming?

Or will it help us produce more of it, faster?
