LinkedIn, I Already Play Queens
By Cristiano Pierry
LinkedIn invited me to try Queens after I had already played today, with a 47-day streak and more than a year of playing.

LinkedIn just sent me a message introducing me to Queens and asking me to “Give it a try.”
I had already played today. My current streak is 47 days. I have been playing for more than a year.
Mistakes happen. Getting personalization right is hard. Still, LinkedIn sent a regular player an invitation to discover a game he already plays. The activity needed to make that message relevant happened inside LinkedIn’s own product.
The message even describes the challenges as “built for you.” It is hard to square that promise with an invitation that completely misses my playing history.
LinkedIn can tell me how many consecutive days I have played. I would expect it to use that same information before asking me to start.
