Two phone widgets give me easy access to my agent and a constant reminder of how much Codex allowance remains before the weekly reset.
I now have two widgets on my phone. One gives me easy access to Bob, my dots agent. The other keeps track of my weekly Codex allowance on ChatGPT Pro.
My allowance reset at noon on Saturday. It’s Sunday, and I’m looking at 47% left and “Resets in 6 days.”
More than half gone over the weekend. Monday hasn’t even arrived.
I want easy access to my agent and a way to keep an eye on my budget. Both widgets are doing exactly what I need them to do. I’m realizing that having the second one on my home screen is adding to my stress.
Now, next to the little blue character I can ask to do things, there’s a reminder of how much room I have left to keep asking.
I still want easy access to Bob. I’m less convinced I need six days of budget anxiety within the same glance.
