Locked Out of an Unlocked Mac

Codex reported a locked Mac while remote access showed it unlocked, blocking browser QA overnight. Access returned; the cause remains unknown.

Code and tests worked, but browser QA was blocked overnight. Browser access is back; the cause is still unknown.
