Chrome Keeps Picking a Fight with ChatGPT

ChatGPT’s image and page access keeps disappearing in Chrome, leaving the cause of the permission resets unclear.

Is anybody else constantly having to restore ChatGPT’s permissions in Chrome?

I’ve given it broad access, but every few days it seems to lose the ability to upload images or open pages it could access before. I keep checking settings I’m pretty sure I already set.

I can’t tell whether a Chrome update, a plugin update, or something else is causing it. The suspicious part of me wonders whether Google is making ChatGPT just frustrating enough that I’ll give Gemini a try. I have no evidence for that. I’m mostly tired of fixing the same permissions over and over.

Is anyone else seeing this?
